Midlands’s producer Juttla has been releasing music now for well over twenty years, working with some of the biggest names in music. As a producer he has remixed for a varied selection of artists from House Music legend Marshall Jefferson, UK Hip-Hoppers Foreign Beggars and the well respected Asian Dub Foundation. Back in 2005 Juttla released an album entitled ‘Bass, Kicks, Snares, Spits’ which featured the likes of Saigon, Inspectah Deck, Freeway, Rass Kass and many others. Now ten years later he has decided to start a new series simply entitled ‘Remix Sessions’.
‘Volume One’ kicks off with a great selection of four well respected artists, with Genesis Elijah’s single ‘This Year’ getting a Juttla treatment. Next up is the dub fused Juttla Remix of ‘Ship Is Sinkin’ by Dotz, from Phili N Dotz and Fifthly Funk, before we get into a new version of the ‘Wrong Attitude’ anthem from Midlands based rapper LATE. The project is wrapped up well with Big Dutty Deeze’s ‘Revolution’ which is a bass led atmospheric banger. Be on the lookout for Volume Two coming sooner than you think
